Adding an Account Fails
- Try a different browser or switch between the app and web interface. Ensure you are selecting the correct financial institution by searching with its website URL, like chase.com.
Incorrect Credential Errors
- Confirm your credentials by signing into your bank in a separate browser tab before attempting to connect again.
- Temporary errors from financial institutions can occur; wait 24 hours and try connecting once more.
Receiving an Error Message
- Wait 24 hours before trying to connect again. If the issue persists, consider connecting through an alternative data provider from the options we provide.
Frequent Reconnections Required
- This can happen if an institution requires regular authorization or due to ongoing maintenance or policy changes at the financial institution that discourage third-party access.
Not Receiving Security Codes
- Try disconnecting and then reconnecting your account using a different data provider.
Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) Issues
- Check the financial institution’s settings to ensure that access to third-party apps is enabled, especially if you've configured MFA.
Transaction Issues
- Transactions Missing or Wrong: Wait 24 hours to allow transactions to populate. If they do not appear, connect through another data provider.
- Duplicate Transactions: Try adding the institution through another one of our available data providers/aggregators.
Account Information Errors
- Incorrect Account Balance or Missing Accounts: Ensure all non-pending transactions are accounted for. If accounts or transactions continue to be missing, update your login settings and re-login to select the missing accounts.
- Duplicate Accounts or Wrong Account Type: Try deleting the account and reconnecting it through a different provider/aggregator.
Account Management Issues
- New or Replacement Card: Delete the old account. Add the new or replacement card by logging into your institution again and selecting the necessary accounts.
- Wrong Transaction Categorizations: You can recategorize transactions as needed and set rules for future categorizations for specific merchants.
