How do I add a custom category for my transactions?

Yes, you can create custom spending categories in Origin. You can name your category and select a color and icon that suits the spending category.

You can create a new custom category at the bottom of any drop down menu that lists categories.

For example, navigate to your Transactions page and select a category:

Click “New category” to create a custom category. Name it, select the type of transaction (expense, income, or transfer), choose a color and icon, and what overarching category it’s related to.

You can also view, edit, or delete your custom categories by heading to your Breakdown page → selecting “Manage categories”. Then, you can see all your categories and click “New category” at the bottom to create a custom one.
