How do I set up my budget?

Here's a step-by-step guide to get your personalized monthly budget created:

1. Go to your Spending Overview and click "Create Budget" on the Budget tab.
2. Enter your total monthly income. We'll show your 6-month average to give you an idea.
3. Set your monthly savings goal - pick a percentage of income or dollar amount. 

4. Add spending categories and target amounts. We'll display your historical averages to guide category amounts. 

5. As you add categories, you'll see the amount remaining so you don't over-budget.
6. If transactions are incorrectly categorized, easily change them right in the budget setup and make rules!
